Final Animated Pattern
I started to test render my animated pattern using mental ray. Initially, it was too bright and after consulting Mr Leong, I changed the multiple to 0.8 and the colour result was better. After that, I followed the rendersettings PSD file and continue. So I started on my batch render and it takes about 1 hour plus to render out my frames. So next, I went to import my rendered animation IFF files into after effects. However, when I tried to use RAM preview, the animation seems to be too fast as compared to what I've done in maya. So I added a Time stretch to the footage and change the stretch factor to 200%. Lastly, I change to composition settings to the correct format 720P to 25 frames and render the animated pattern. This is the final presented movie that I had.

Continuing to animate the pattern
I've tried to make the animation pattern turn by using the expression editor and create an expression.

This will allow the pattern to rotate at a slower pace when the animation is being played. After then, I created a lambert and named it as patternShader. Then I assigned the material to the spheres. I've also created a nurbsCircle2 and set it as a driver while the patternShader as driven to allow the nurbsCircle2 to be the control of the colour change in the spheres. For this part, I used nurbsCircle2 Translate Z. It will be moving from the value of 0 to -22 and the colours will change. So after I've set the individual keys, when I started to move the nurbsCircle2, the colours of the sphere will change.
After then, I created an expression in the expression editor whereby when the animation started, the nurbsCircle2 will move on it's own and leading the colour change.
At first, I had difficulty on how to make the nurbsCircle2 to move slower to let the colour change of the sphere to last till the end of the animation. So I tried to adjust the expression that I had and this expression works well with my animation.
This is how it looks like from the top view of my animation currently.

Animating the pattern
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkIvDqkXlI4&feature=youtu.be
This is the animation that I've completed so far. I attach the sphere to the motion path that I've created and shift the motion path destination to the part of the curve that I wanted it to stop at individually. The outer sphere I keyframe at is 30 and the most inner sphere is at keyframe 90. Each motion path has 13 spheres with different sizes. For the next part, I will try to make it rotate and if possible will make it change to different colours.
